Late Goal Gives Middlebury NESCAC Men's Ice Hockey Championship
BRUNSWICK, Maine – Middlebury senior captain Charlie Townsend scored the game-winning goal with 1:42 remaining in the third period to give the Panthers their eighth NESCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Championship, 3-2, over Bowdoin on Sunday at Sidney J. Watson Arena. With their fourth win over the Polar Bears in the title game, the Panthers (19-4-4) earn the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Amherst Wins Women's Ice Hockey Title in Overtime, 2-1
AMHERST, Mass. – The top-seeded Amherst College women’s ice hockey team played host to No. 2 Trinity this afternoon at Orr Rink in the 2010 NESCAC Championship title game. Trinity scored the opening goal of the game in the first period, but Amherst forced overtime and took home the program’s third NESCAC crown 2-1 on Courtney Hanlon’s (Fullerton, Calif.) game-winner in the extra session.

Williams Wins 2010 Men's Basketball Championship
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Top-seeded Williams downed defending NESCAC Men's Basketball champion Middlebury on Sunday afternon 64-58 in a contest where Williams once led by as many as 17. The Ephs win their first NESCAC title since 2007 fourth conference crown overall. Middlebury won its only title in 2009.

Williams Earns Men's Swimming & Diving Championship
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Williams College claimed its ninth conference crown on Sunday evening, taking the 2010 NESCAC Men's Swimming & Diving Championships with 1,937.5 points. Tufts finished as the runner-up to the Ephs for the third-straight year with 1,452.5 points. Rounding out the top five were Amherst (1,352), Middlebury (1,029.5) and Hamilton (757).

Amherst Moves Past Colby for NESCAC Women's Basketball Championship
AMHERST, Mass. – The top-seeded Amherst College women’s basketball team won its second NESCAC title in three years on Sunday with a 69-54 victory over second-seeded Colby College at LeFrak Gymnasium. Amherst stretched an eight-point halftime lead into a 15-point win. The win improved the Jeffs' record to 27-0 on the season and increased their home winning streak to 23 games.
