Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Sam Carlin - Bowdoin Sam Carlin
Bowdoin College
Junior • Faceoff Specialist • New Albany, Ohio

Carlin won 23-of-30 faceoffs against Bates and scored twice, including the game-winner with 1.3 seconds remaining. Carlin won the final faceoff with 16 seconds left in a tie game and never gave up the ball and deposited the game-winner before the buzzer. He also had 18 ground balls in the win. Carlin added seven more faceoff wins in a non-conference victory at Montclair on Saturday as the Polar Bears won their eighth straight game.
Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Caroline Nowak - Tufts Caroline Nowak
Tufts University
Senior • Midfield • Glenview, Ill.

Nowak’s 13 points helped lead the Jumbos to a 3-0 week. She netted five goals, including breaking a 5-5 tie to give Tufts a lead it would not relinquish in a win over Williams. She added a man-down goal in a 12-7 victory against Wesleyan and  closed out the week with five goals in a win over Babson on Sunday. She also had four ground balls, two draw controls, and three caused turnovers.
Baseball Player of the Week
Cooper Mooney - Trinity Cooper Mooney
Trinity College
Senior • Infield • Southbury, Conn.

Mooney batted .563 with a .632 on-base percentage and an .875 slugging percentage in four games. He hit safely in all four contests, totaling four runs and six RBIs for the week. He scored the game-tying runs in wins against Dean and Bowdoin, and had the game-winning RBI in another win over Bowdoin. He went 3-for-4 with a walk, a run, an RBI and three stolen bases in a 10-8 win against Dean. In Game 1 versus Bowdoin, Mooney was 2-for-3 with two runs, two walks, a double, a home run, and two RBIs. He also had a hit, knocked in a run, and stole a base in a 7-2 victory in Game 2 and went 3-for-5 with a double, a run, and two RBIs in a 6-3 win over the Polar Bears in the series finale.
Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Mike McCaffrey - Wesleyan Mike McCaffrey
Wesleyan University
Junior • Pitcher • Warwick, R.I.

McCaffrey did not allow a hit through six innings in 1-0 triumph over Middlebury in Game 1 of a doubleheader on Saturday. He finished the game with 10 strikeouts, five walks, and struck out the side in the first, and six of the first seven batters he faced.
Softball Player of the Week
Maddie Rouhana - Bowdoin Maddie Rouhana
Bowdoin College
First Year • Infield • Falmouth, Maine

Rouhana led the Polar Bears to a weekend sweep of Colby as she batted .500, with five of her six hits being for extra bases, including a home run in Game 1 on Saturday and two home runs in the second inning alone on Sunday against the Mules. She knocked in seven runs and scored five runs over the two days. For the week, she batted .462 and and slugged 1.462 in five games with four homers, 10 RBIs and six runs scored as Bowdoin improved to 18-6 this spring.
Softball Pitcher of the Week
Rebecca Duncan - Williams Rebecca Duncan
Williams College
Sophomore • Pitcher • Simi Valley, Calif.

Duncan went 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA on the week. In a 12-0 win over Wesleyan, she had a perfect game through four innings and finished with a one-hit shutout. She did not walk a batter while striking out six in the five-inning game. She also batted .556 for the week with three home runs and eight RBIs, while scoring five runs and stealing a base. She had a .600 on-base percentage and a 1.556 slugging percentage as the Ephs swept the Cardinals in a three-game series.
Men's Track Performer of the Week
Scott Mason - Connecticut College Scott Mason
Connecticut College
Junior • Wyndmoor, Pa.

Mason finished fifth overall and first among Division III competitors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Sam Howell Invitational. He notched a time of 9:12.24 and currently sits atop the NESCAC leaderboard in the event.
Men's Field Performer of the Week
Adedire Fakorede - Bates Adedire Fakorede
Bates College
Senior • Newark, N.J.

Fakorede contributed 24 points for the Bobcats at the Tufts Quad Meet. He won the hammer throw (165-11) and the discus (159-7) before finishing third in the shot put (46-8).
Women's Track Performer of the Week
Katherine Cook - Bates Katherine Cook
Bates College
Senior • South Burlington, Vt.

Cook broke the Bates outdoor record in the 5,000-meter run by clocking a time of 16:49.10 to win the event at the Tufts Quad Meet. Cook is currently the top ranked NESCAC runner in the 5,000-meter event.
Women's Field Performer of the Week
Aly Saperstein - Connecticut College Aly Saperstein
Connecticut College
Senior • Simsbury, Conn.

Saperstein won the javelin throw with a toss of 128-10 at the Coast Guard Academy Spring Invitational. She currently sits atop the NESCAC leaderboard in the event. Saperstein also threw 140-10 in the hammer throw, good for fourth place.
