Smigelski showed that he was undeterred at being an unknown when offered a chance to step up to the next level of play at the recently concluded Pittsburgh Penguins Development Camp.</description>

Williams senior forward Alex Smigelski and Bowdoin junior defender Kyle Shearer-Hardy earned a spot on the First Team, while sophomores Scott Barchard of Tufts and Martin Drolet of Middlebury were selected on the Second Team.</description>

The Lakers (26-2-0) advance to Division III semifinals next Friday in Lake Placid, N.Y.</description>

      <description>MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - Jared Docking put home his own rebound after a shot from Kyle Taylor had been saved, lifting Plattsburgh to a 3-2 overtime victory in an NCAA Quarterfinal game. The goal was the third of the year for Docking, coming just 3:19 into the extra session. The Cardinals improve to 19-5-4 and will meet Norwich in the semifinals next Friday at Lake Placid. The Panthers end their nine-game winning streak, finishing the season with a 19-5-4 mark. The game was played before a sellout crowd of 2,600 at Middlebury's Kenyon Arena.</description>
