HADLEY, Mass. The NESCAC announced today the 2009-10 Mens Swimming and Diving All-Conference Team. The top three finishers in each event at the 2010 NESCAC Mens Swimming and Diving Championship received All-Conference recognition. Junior John Dillon (Wellesley, Mass.) became the first individual from Middlebury to earn Swimmer of the Meet honors following the conference championship. Tufts senior Rob Matera (Trumbull, Conn.) netted Diver of the Meet .
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. Williams College claimed its ninth conference crown on Sunday evening, taking the 2010 NESCAC Men's Swimming & Diving Championships with 1,937.5 points. Tufts finished as the runner-up to the Ephs for the third-straight year with 1,452.5 points. Rounding out the top five were Amherst (1,352), Middlebury (1,029.5) and Hamilton (757).
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. Williams continued to hold onto its lead following day two of the 2010 NESCAC Mens Swimming & Diving Championship. The Ephs now have 1355.5 points, followed by Tufts (1027), Amherst (993), Middlebury (708.5), and Connecticut College (549.5). The third and final day of competition will begin tomorrow, February 28, 2010 with trials at 10:00 a.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m.
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. Williams leads after day one of the 2010 NESCAC Mens Swimming & Diving Championship hosted at Williams College. The Ephs earned 740 points today, followed by Tufts (526), Amherst (484), Middlebury (340), and Connecticut College (316). The competition will resume tomorrow, Feb. 27, 2010 with trials at 10:00 a.m. and finals beginning at 6:00 p.m.
HADLEY, Mass. Williams College, winner of eight conference titles, will look to add to its legacy this weekend when the Ephs host the 2010 installment of the NESCAC Mens Swimming & Diving Championships. The three-day meet begins Friday, Feb. 26 at the Muir-Samuelson Pool in Williamstown, Mass., and concludes on the evening of Sunday, Feb. 28.
